Ballard Families, we are very excited to have Hispanic Heritage Night and STEM join forces this October for an amazing afternoon filled with food, songs, celebrations and Science! On Thursday, October 14th, 3:30-5:30, we will have an area set up specifically to help students and parents with Science Fair information. We will have a display of what a Science board should like like, and handouts that will help you do your best presenting the Science information you have collected.
Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade can visit Mrs. Giannopulos, our STEM teacher and ask questions, get Science Fair topic ideas, and receive handouts. Don't wait until the last minute! Some projects need time to collect data. Ballard will provide you with a Science board and a Log book to help you with your project. Ask your classroom teacher for ideas and materials. We are very excited to choose students to represent Ballard at the District Science Fair this year. Don't be left out, come to learn more about it on Hispanic Heritage Night! We will be expecting you!
