Tuesday, December 15th will be our first meeting for TSA Club. This year we started a bit later, but we are going to continue with our Robotics club and start building our Team robots in January. This club will be meeting during school hours in the STEM Lab Room 206, every Monday and Tuesday at 2:15-3:05. TSA (Technology Student Association) is for 5th grade students. Stay tuned for photos as we begin building in 2021!
This week Ballard students are learning how to Code in STEM Lab. All Manatee County Schools are participating in an hour of Code this whole week. Kindergarten and First grade students are learning how to code Ozobot Evo with color codes, Second grade is learning how to code through Kodable.com, and Third through 5th graders are working on Code.org. Here are some pictures to show what we've been up to! Welcome back to school! We're excited to be back in brick and mortar with our students. We're also very excited to be in our newly renovated STEM Lab. Although the year 2020 left us a bit uncertain, we're hopeful that 2021 will be filled with better memories and happier times. Please stay safe and keep following all mask and sanitizing protocols so we can continue learning face-to face. I don't know about you, but I'm super happy to be back in school. I'm super excited to start out VEX IQ Robotics Team for 5th graders as well. We finally got approval to start forming our teams and I'm super anxious to start our very first meeting on Tuesday, December 15th. Stay tuned for more exciting news to come soon...I'll keep you posted!
